The Weill Cornell Women in Global Health Research Initiative is proud to host the 10th Annual Scientific Symposium on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Weill Cornell Medicine Belfer Research Building in New York City. This year’s theme, Emerging Issues in Global Women’s Health, will highlight pressing challenges and opportunities in advancing women’s health worldwide. The symposium will feature a keynote address by Dr. Carmen Logie, PhD, Professor, University of Toronto, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. Keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion titled: Women's Health as a Research Priority. The panel will be chaired by Juliet Iwelunmor, PhD, Professor of Medicine, Washington University Medicine. Join us for a day of thought-provoking discussions and networking with experts in global women’s health, infectious and non-communicable diseases. This event is in-person only.
